:: Contributions To ProjectsI've assisted many different clients with their projects. Sometimes they commission me for help, while other times I personally volunteer my services. This is a list of some of the most noteworthy projects I've been a part of. If you'd like to commission me for your own project, you can find out more on my Commissions page. Chex Quest 3 - ComposerBack in 1994, Digital Cafe created a kid-friendly science fiction shooter called Chex Quest that was distributed for free in boxes of Chex cereal as a promotional gimmick. The game used a modified version of the Doom engine and was an immediate success, causing sales of Chex cereal to increase by over 295%. A sequel was later available for download from Chex Quest's web site. For years, the two games remained a cult favorite, and in 2008 - more than a decade after the promotion - one of the original team members, Charles Jacobi, produced an official Chex Quest 3 with support from fans. Since the project required a new soundtrack and the original game's composer only had time to make two songs, I contributed music for the second, fourth, and final stages as well as the ending fanfare. I have provided the entire soundtrack below for your listening pleasure. While the songs use General MIDI instruments, they are still impressive and worthy of the final episode in the trilogy! Bakublock - ComposerBakublock is a simple and charming breakout game by indie developer AmysGames. Players must reveal a hidden picture by breaking the blocks that are covering it. The soundtrack, consisting of two songs, was composed by me. That Really Hot Chick - Graphic ArtistTRHC is a hectic run-and-jump arcade game that pokes fun at the fact that so many X-Box Live Arcade games feature attractive women on their covers that don't actually appear within the games themselves. The protagonist is a baby chicken that is trying to escape being cooked and eaten by various predators. The head of the project, HorrendousGames, commissioned me to draw graphics for the game. I designed and drew the chick and the various enemies that chase after her, along with most of the levels and tiles. HG himself supplemented my work with additional tiles and created the menu art. |
